The Daily Brief: your five-minute open

By FibSetups · Updated July 2026

The Daily Brief answers one question before the open: which of the 600+ symbols deserve attention today?

The layout

  • SPY’s stage opens the page — where the index sits in its own swing structure (e.g. above its weekly .382). Individual setups trade better when you know which way the tide is leaning.
  • Clusters being tested today — filled in live during market hours as zones get touched, with confirmation counts.
  • Support and Resistance columns — side by side, each entry showing the symbol, the zone bounds, the calculation that anchors it (e.g. at the .50 retracement of a 56% swing), the swing count, and a sparkline of the recent approach.

How entries are ranked

By the weight of evidence: big-swing clusters with high agreement rank above minor ones. The percentages next to each entry express how large the underlying swing is relative to price — a zone built from a 76% swing is structurally more significant than one from a 24% swing.

A five-minute routine

  1. Read SPY’s stage. Tide first.
  2. Scan the column matching your direction (support if you buy dips).
  3. Open the two or three entries with the biggest swings and most agreeing levels; read their derivations.
  4. Set alerts on the ones you would act on, and let the session come to you.
