Using watchlists
Watchlists on FibSetups are not passive symbol lists — they are groupings the platform actively maintains for you.
Grouped by state, automatically
Open a watchlist and its symbols arrive pre-sorted by zone state: testing a cluster now at the top, near a zone next, and quiet at the bottom. Each row shows the symbol’s strongest zone, its side, bounds, and swing count. The question a watchlist answers is not “what is on my list?” but “what on my list needs me today?”
Building lists
Create a list, type symbols to add them, click to remove. Sensible groupings that work well in practice: your actual positions, your core ETFs, and a candidates list of names whose zones you are stalking for an entry.
Two integrations worth using
- Scanner scoping. Select a watchlist in the scanner’s filter row and the entire scanner — list, filters, sort — operates on just those names.
- Alert targeting. Alert rules accept a watchlist as their scope, so “any symbol on Core ETFs enters a strong cluster” is one rule instead of six. Add a symbol to the list later and the rule covers it automatically.
